Sheikh Zayed's painting attracts a client, says Lahore street artist

The street designer from Lahore, Shoukat Ali, said former Abu Dhabi ruler Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan helped him attract customers.

Shoukat Ali, who dropped out of school and began to focus more on creating portraits, said he did not know who he was, but helped him attract customers. His portrait is a chance for him, added the artist at the side of the road.

He added that he knew he was a king and that he liked his face.

Shoukat said his work averaged Rs 30,000 a month and he is happy because he does not have to pay rent here or electricity bill.
